Colombia (Notifix).- According to Colombia's official statistics department, DANE, in August 2010 construction licenses for 1.378.825 m2 were approved, this represents

a 11.3% increase against approved square meters in August 2009 (1.238.333 m2). Between January and August 2010 approved construction licenses totaled total 10.155.685 m2, 19.5% growth over the area of 2009 for the first 8 months of the year (8.495.940 m2).
