Brazil (CGI Moveis).- As of August 2010 Argentina has surpassed the United States, France and the United Kingdom to become Brazil's main furniture export market. Due mainly

to a 93% growth compared to same period 2009, going from USD 39.6 million to USD 76.6 million. While exports to the United States fell 7% from USD 64.1 million to USD 59.6 million. Total exports in the period grew 13.9% going from USD 440.9 million in 2009 to USD 502.4 million in 2010.Growth in exports to Chile and Uruguay were also noticeable in the period. Exports to Chile grew 42.9% and 41% to Uruguay: Exports to Chile and Uruguay totaled USD 40.9 million in the between January and August period 2010, compared to USD 28.8 million in the same period 2009.
