With 434,509 attendees Salone del Mobile recorded solid growth

ITALY – The 57th edition of the Salone del Mobile held from 17 to 22 April in Milan attracted 424,509 visitors from 188 countries.

779SALONE3 According to the organizer Federlegno Arredo Eventi, this represents an increase of 17% compared to 2016, when the fair also included the biennial EuroCucina and the International Bathroom Exhibition. Against the 2017 edition the increase was an impressive 26%.

1,841 exhibitors participated in the five sub-fairs Salone Internationale del Mobile, International Furnishing Accessories Exhibition, FTK – Technology For the Kitchen, EuroCucina, and International Bathroom Exhibition. In addition, 650 young designers under 35 years participated in the Salone Satellite.

The share of foreign exhibitor companies was 27%.

This means that we are now ready to start thinking about the next edition, with even greater commitment to maintaining our acknowledged leadership of identity and values and responding to business and market demands

The next Salone del Mobile takes place from April 9 to 14, 2019, and as usual in the odd years it will take place, together with the exhibition formats Euroluce (lighting) and Workplace 3.0 (office furniture).
