COLOMBIA – During the 12th M&M Technological and Industrial Fair at Corferias in Bogotá, on the 12 and 13 of March 2014, two trade sessions will be conducted: The Furniture and Wood Suppliers Business Meetings, and the Responsible Wood Business Meetings, with which the organizers seek to boost trade agreements in goods and services among participants.
The Suppliers Business Meeting (SBM), in its second version, aims to promote business and exports of products of exhibitors (machinery, tools, raw materials, and services ) to buyers from South America and Central America.
During the first version of the SBM in 2012, more than 107 contact meetings were carried out and generating businesses for around COP 1,200 million.
This year’s show will hold for first time the Responsible Wood Business Meeting, a space created by M&M Magazine, on an initiative of the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) and in partnership with Global Forest Trade Network (GFTN NACD). This event aims to promote the purchase, sale and export of legal and certified wood, with the participating industries linked directly or indirectly to the wood and woodworking sector.
