The furniture industry dominates the Top 50 German Luxury Companies ranking

GERMANY – Every two years, representatives from the EY, INLUX and KEYLENS management consultancy companies establish the TOP 50 German luxury companies from a list of 100 companies identified as luxury producers.

800TOP This year again several companies from the furniture, bathroom and kitchen sectors were able to be part of the Top 50 selection.

Kitchen furniture manufacturer Poggenpohl, with fourth place in the ranking, led the sector: “We are thrilled to be among the TOP 5 German luxury companies and see this ranking as validation of our brand strategy,” says Gernot Mang, CEO Poggenpohl. “Our claim is to constantly rethink the kitchen by focusing on people and their diverse needs. It is also very important to us to meet our international customers’ personal requirements.”

Besides Poggenpohl, the ranking also includes SieMatic (5th place), Kaldewei (7th place), Walter Knoll (8th place), Bulthaup (10th place), Schramm Werkstätten (11th place), Miele (14th place), Villeroy & Boch (16th place) ), Dedon (17th place), Gaggenau and Hansgrohe (23rd place).

The winner was the company Montblanc (watches & accessories) ahead of Leica (optical instruments) and BMW i8, as an independent sub-brand of the BMW Group.
