Strong Booking Status for LIGNA’s 2025 Edition

GERMANY – At the end of May 2024, Deutsche Messe AG and the VDMA Woodworking Machinery Association reported excellent booking status for LIGNA 2025.

1087LIGNA By the end of the early bird discount period, exactly one year before the event, 80% of the net stand space based on LIGNA 2023’s total area had already been booked. Additionally, nearly two-thirds of the exhibitors from 2023 are returning.

Stephanie Wagner, Head of LIGNA at Deutsche Messe, noted, “These figures show that the exhibitors’ commitment to LIGNA remains exceptionally high, even though the industry is currently navigating through difficult times.” Registrations include market leaders from Germany, Italy, Austria, Turkey, and Spain, along with numerous entries from Asia, particularly China and Japan.

Dr. Bernhard Dirr, Managing Director of the VDMA Woodworking Machinery Association, emphasized the importance of this strong participation. “We are currently at the low point of a severe economic downturn. The unanimous commitment of the registering companies to the upcoming LIGNA highlights the expectation that things will improve by 2025 at the latest and that many new orders will be discussed at LIGNA.”

LIGNA 2025, the world-leading trade fair for woodworking and wood processing, will be held in Hanover from May 26 to 30, 2025.
