BRAZIL – Sindmóveis (Furniture Industry Association of Bento Gonçalves) is organizing a business mission to the International Furniture and Interiors Fair (imm Cologne 2020), which will be held in Germany in January 2020.

The goal of the association is to bring together a group of companies that will have access to exclusive contacts and a program expanded during the period of the event. The deadline to apply for the 12 vacancies available is October 20.

The president of Sindmóveis, Vinicius Benini, points out that this is a unique opportunity for the companies based in Bento Gonçalves and exhibitors of Movelsul Brasil – especially due to the scheduled meetings and technical visits. “We believe that the current greater global competitiveness of the Brazilian furniture results from design and innovation. Taking part in the events of the circuit is crucial to understand the global scenario of the industry and to exchange experiences with other companies,” he says.

Considered one of the leading European interior design trade shows, imm Cologne brings together new products from around the world in addition to presenting future trends to the segment. To have an idea of the size of the fair, in 2019, imm Cologne featured over 1,150 exhibitors distributed in 14 pavilions, totaling 246 thousand square meters of exhibition area and almost 150 thousand professional visitors.
