Sindmóveis and Movergs join to hold Buyer Project at FIMMA

BRAZIL – South Africa, Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, the United States, India, Mexico, Peru and the Dominican Republic will be present at the 14th International Fair of Machinery, Raw Materials and Accessories for the Furniture Industry FIMMA Brasil 2019 through the Buyer Project.

817FIMMA From March 26 to 29, in Bento Gonçalves (RS), 50 importers will be in direct contact with exhibitors to generate good business. The project, which reaches its 10th edition, confirms the credibility of the fifth largest global fair for the furniture industry. “I believe that the 50 importers who will be present in the Buyer Project will have a positive impact. We entered in 2019 with prospects of economic recovery, which will contribute directly to the results of the project in FIMMA Brazil. Because they are from different segments, they will have the possibility to bring so many opportunities, which will make this 10th edition very promising,” says the International Director of FIMMA Brazil 2019, Marcelo Haefliger.

Haefliger, explains that the Orchestra Brazil project, together with Apex Brazil’s market intelligence area, annually reviews the target countries. The methodology provides for analysis of numerous indicators (import volume of NCMs, growth rate, competition, barriers, etc.) compared to the potential of the countries. “The 10 markets that will be in FIMMA Brazil 2019 are those confirmed for the 2018/2020 biennium, being part of them for maintenance and positioning / reinforcement of image and brand,” he points out.

In FIMMA 2017, 1,200 business rounds were held with 50 international buyers from the United States, Mexico, Panama, Chile, Colombia, Peru, United Kingdom, United Arab Emirates, Argentina, Uruguay, Bolivia and South Africa, which represented USD 3.3 million in deals made only in that edition.
