817MEMINDUSTRIAL2 “In particular, the successful cooperation with AMPIMM, the Mexican Association of Suppliers of the Wood and Furniture Industry, has given a new face to MEM Industrial and has established the fair as a “One-Stop-Shop”. We have made the fair the industry’s leading event in the country,” said Eugenio Carrillo, Project Director of MEM Industrial. “This year’s edition focused on machines, accessories and a high-level conference program.” In total, more than 130 companies and 230 brands from Germany and abroad were presented in more than 10,000 square meters of floor space.

“We are delighted that the exhibitors and buyers of this year’s edition have been very satisfied,” explains Eugenio Carrillo. “In recent months we have adapted the fair to the needs of the market. In cooperation with AMPIMM, we have created a business platform that not only shows the machines in operation, introduces the latest technologies and applications of the industry, but has also expanded to include materials and accessories. The most active companies worldwide are expanding their businesses to maintain their international competition and also to increasingly target Mexican customers. MEM Industrial is the right place to bring buyers and professional users of the region together with international solution providers.”

Alejandro Tena, current President of the Mexican Association of Suppliers of the Wood Industry and Furniture A.C. (AMPIMM) and General Director of the company Maderas y Plásticos commented: “This exhibition may grow 30 or 40 percent, it is taking very good shape.
