PERU – The value of Peruvian imports of plastic Edgebands in the first nine months of 2023 (9M-2023) was USD 3.68 million.

This represented a slight increase of 2.3% compared to the same period of the previous year (9M-2022: USD 3.60 million).

China, as usual, was by far the main supplier country of plastic Edgebands to the Peruvian market in 9M-2023 with shipments worth USD 3.19 million, representing a very slight decrease of 0.9% (9M-2022: USD 3.22 million).

Representaciones Martin was the main importing company of plastic Edgebands to the Peruvian market with purchases worth USD 2.67 million in the first nine months of 2023. This represented an increase of 18.2% compared to the same period of the previous year (9M-2022: USD 2.26 million). In 9M-2023, Representaciones Martin’s imports accounted for 72.5% of total plastic Edgebands imports to Perú.

It was followed by Novopan Peru (USD 241.7 thousand), Modulo Ferrecentro (USD 202.2 thousand) and De Vicente Plasticos Peru (USD 141 thousand) as the main importing companies in 9M-2023.
