MEXICO – Cipatex, Crippa, Lidear, Lufati, Promob and Projepack were the six Brazilian supplying companies to the furniture industry that took part in Tecno Mueble Internacional 2018 supported by the Orchestra Brazil, a project to encourage exports.
Orchestra Brazil is promoted by the Furniture Industry Association of Bento Gonçalves (Sindmóveis) in a partnership with the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brazil). The Mexican fair was held from August 15 – 18 in Guadalajara.
During Tecno Mueble, the Orchestra Brazil Project aimed to increase the exports of the Brazilian suppliers to the furniture industry. The goal was to strengthen international negotiations and the positioning of this segment.
Tecno Mueble is one of the leading fairs in Latin America for the suppliers to the furniture industry and as the second largest economy in Latin America Mexico is one of the 10 top destinations of exports by the companies supported by the Orchestra Brazil project. In general, there has been an increase in the Mexican imports of products supplied by the companies participating in the project, especially machinery and equipment.
The Orchestra Brazil Project has been carried out since 2006 promoting the competitive inclusion of suppliers to the woodworking industry in the international market. To achieve this goal it promotes market research, missions to prospect markets, individual actions, Buyer’s Projects, Image Projects, commercial missions in addition to taking part in major world trade fairs. The priority markets for the project are South Africa, Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, the United States, India, Mexico, Peru and the Dominican Republic.
