COLOMBIA – The XII edition of the M&M trade fair for suppliers of the furniture industry, held from 12 to 15 March in Bogota, met all the expectations of organizers, exhibitors and visitors.
The fair received nearly 13,500 visitors, with a significant number arriving from the Andean region, particularly Venezuela, Peru and Ecuador, and an important number also coming from Central America. “We have definitely positioned ourselves as the most important event of the furniture industry in the Andean region,” pointed out Oscar Bravo, director of the event.
The show also held the Procurement Business Rounds, where more than 60 business meetings with buyers from Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Uruguay, Chile, Honduras, Italy, Argentina, Guatemala, and others took place, reaching deals for about COP 1,200 million. This was also the first time the Responsible Wood Business Rounds were held, where 22 companies took part in more than 30 meetings to conduct business for about USD 3.2 million.
