MEXICO – MEM Industrial – Tecno Mueble Internacional 2021, a leading event for the wood and furniture transformation industry, which will be held from August 18 to 21, 2021 at Expo Guadalajara, Jalisco opened its online registration.
The announcement was made during a virtual press conference given by the General Director of Hannover Fairs Mexico, Bernd Rohde; the Coordinator of the Exhibition Committee of the Jalisco Furniture Manufacturers Association (Afamjal), Enrique Ruíz Castro; and the Director of ImpactMX and Co-founder of Makers for Good, Óscar Velázquez.
MEM Industrial – Tecno Mueble Internacional 2021 will have three main axes: sustainability throughout the industry value chain; the role of design; and through a complete conference program, the importance of digitization in the industry. The event expects the participation of more than 5,000 professional buyers and more than 200 leading brands in 11,000 square meters of exhibition.
When presenting all the activities of the exhibition, Bernd Rohde highlighted that “thanks to the merger of MEM Industrial – Tecno Mueble Internacional, as of 2021 we form the leading event in Mexico and Latin America for the entire wood and wood transformation industry furniture, through which professional buyers will have access to knowledge, technologies and materials from the entire value chain, with which they will be able to increase their competitiveness, reactivate the national economy and internationalize their products.
This alliance begins in 2021, but will be continued in the events to come. Another relevant point of this union is that it will allow us to rotate the headquarters: in even-numbered years it will be in Mexico City and in odd-numbered years, such as 2021, it will be at Expo Guadalajara.”
