FINLAND (Notifix).- According to forecasts from consulting firm Poyry, melamine surfacing for panels will continue to gain market share in Europe and Asia (excluding China).

In Europe it is estimated that for the 2012 -2017 period, annual average growth in panel consumption will be 2.1%, surpassing 70 million cubic meters, where melamine surfacing would gain 1% market share from 53% in 2011 to 54% in 2017.

As per Asia, it is estimated that for the 2012 -2017 period, annual average growth in panel consumption will be 5%, reaching 45 million cubic meters, where melamine surfacing will gain 2% market share from 24% in 2011 to 26% in 2017.
