Masonite Shareholders Approve Acquisition by Owens Corning

USA – Masonite International Corporation has announced that its shareholders have overwhelmingly voted in favor of the proposed acquisition by Owens Corning during a special shareholders meeting.

By joining forces with Owens Corning, we are poised to enhance our capabilities and continue our mission of transforming the door industry with our Doors That Do More strategy. We are dedicated to ensuring a seamless transition and to fulfilling all remaining conditions for closing the deal.”

Masonite is a leading global designer, manufacturer, marketer and distributor of interior and exterior doors and door systems for the new construction and repair, renovation and remodeling sectors of the residential and non-residential building construction markets.

The transaction is anticipated to finalize in mid-2024, pending the necessary regulatory approvals and other standard closing conditions, including the final order from the Supreme Court of British Columbia endorsing the plan of arrangement.
