GERMANY – As Ligna approaches its 50th anniversary edition, the trade fair for the woodworking and wood processing industry has seen an impressive surge in exhibitor registrations. 1,337 exhibitors have signed up so far, surpassing the 1,288 exhibitors from the 2023 event.

Exhibition space booked for the anniversary edition stands at 112,772 square meters, nearly matching last edition’s total of 113,937 square meters, despite a challenging economic climate.
Organizers are thrilled with the response. Stephanie Wagner, Head of Ligna, expressed surprise at the strong turnout, given the tough economic environment. “The strong participation this year, especially in terms of exhibitors and space, is beyond what we had expected,” Wagner said.
The significant number of exhibitors, including many international companies, reflects the industry’s commitment to Ligna. “The high level of interest shows the industry is united and ready to move forward,” added Wagner. She is optimistic that the product innovations showcased at the event will drive the industry’s much-needed turnaround and spark investment interest.
With the event scheduled to take place from May 26 to 30, 2025, Ligna 2025 is set to be an essential platform for innovation and industry growth.
