ARGENTINA – The 12th edition of the International Fair of Wood & Technology – FITECMA 2015 took place from June 23 to 27 at the Costa Salguero Center in Buenos Aires.
Preliminary data confirm the forecasts of the Organizing Committee regarding expected visitors to this year’s edition.
Delegations arrived from Cordoba, Entre Rios and Mar del Plata, as part of the Free Transfer Program for domestic visitors, a service that the Organizing Committee sets forth in each edition with different chambers of the segment. This year, the program made arrangements for SMEs, carpenters and professionals from 25 locations around the country.
The presence of more than 60 managers and middle managers of the Placentro Argentina network, who attended the fair as part of a training session on new trade channels and market trends organized by Masisa, one of the sponsors of FITECMA, was also a highlight of the 2015 event.
Another highlight was the influx of young professionals and interior designers with self-construction projects and new ventures, who were particularly interested in new technologies for small batch production and in new materials that exhibitors presented to the market in FITECMA 2015.
