GERMANY – Koelnmesse, a global leader in trade fair organization, is revamping its furniture and interior design events to better meet market demands.

Starting in January 2026, imm cologne will focus annually on the consumer market with a streamlined, targeted concept. Meanwhile, interior design days cologne (idd cologne) will launch in October 2025, providing a premium platform for interior professionals like designers, architects, and project planners.

These new formats, developed with the industry, aim to address changing market needs. idd cologne will feature exclusive brands in residential and hospitality interiors, including furniture, lighting, and design products, held biennially starting in 2025.

imm cologne will shift focus to high-demand consumer trends, targeting international retailers, online marketers, and trade visitors. The fair will take place annually in January, in a compact four-day format starting in 2026.

These changes ensure imm cologne remains a leader in interior design for the next 70 years, while continuing to deliver value and innovation to the industry.
