GERMANY – From May 20 to 23, 2025, Cologne will host interzum, the world’s leading trade fair for furniture production and interior design.

With more than 1,600 exhibitors from over 55 countries, this edition will focus on the theme “Rethinking Resources: Circular and Biobased Solutions”, emphasizing sustainable innovation across the industry.

The exhibition is organized into three main segments:

• Function & Components: Energy-efficient fittings, lighting systems, and semi-finished furniture parts.
• Materials & Nature: Eco-friendly materials like wood, veneers, and decorative surfaces.
• Textile & Machinery: Latest innovations in upholstery, mattress production, and textile machinery.

Special forums will address key topics such as biocircular materials, sustainable furniture design, and digital product passports. The “Rethinking Resources Boulevard” will showcase cutting-edge solutions for environmentally responsible production.
