GERMANY – In less than two months, interzum 2025 will take place in Cologne from May 20 to 23, bringing together global suppliers from the furniture and interior design industries. With preparations in full swing and strong registration numbers, the event reaffirms its status as the world’s leading trade fair for the sector.

Showcasing a full spectrum of the value chain—from materials and surface finishes to smart components and cutting-edge technologies—interzum is where numerous new products are launched, solidifying its role as the industry’s innovation hub.
“The high registration level demonstrates the industry’s anticipation for interzum, even amid global challenges. It remains the key platform for innovation and business, reflecting the sector’s diversity and depth,” says Maik Fischer, Director of interzum.
Top exhibitors such as A. & H. Meyer, Blum, Egger, Häfele, Hettich, Finsa, Alvic, Arpa, Donati, BekaertDeslee, Albrecht Bäumer, and many others will be present. Renowned companies like Ergomotion, Fritz Kohl, Parmel, Rehau, Toppan, and Stanzwerk Wetter are also returning, further highlighting the event’s significance.
The central theme for 2025 is “Rethinking Resources: Circular and Biobased Solutions,” focusing on resource-efficient production processes and innovative materials. This theme will be prominently featured throughout the event’s program and presentations.
A standout feature of interzum will be the Boulevard Nord stage, offering two formats: the interzum Trend Stage with insights into market trends and the Product Stage where companies will present their innovations. Trend Forums will explore crucial topics like biocircular materials, smart resource use, and digital product passports.
The prestigious interzum Award will honor the most innovative solutions from international exhibitors, with a new category, “Rethinking Resources,” added for 2025. Award-winning products will be showcased in a special exhibition on Boulevard Nord.
