SPAIN – More than 26 thousand professional visitors attended Feria Habitat Valencia 2018, the International Fair of Furniture and Lighting of Valencia, held from September 18 to 21. In its 54th edition, the event registered a growth of 13% in attendance against the 2017 version and a growth of 24% in international buyers.
After reviewing the final balance and results of the last edition, the Fair has already begun to work intensely in the next meeting – which will be from September 17 to 20, 2019. Its organizers have highlighted the positive figures of the last edition that consolidate Habitat’s growth and mark the pathway towards a greater dimensioning of both the offer and the demand of Feria Valencia.
“Habitat is a fair that is fully consolidated on those dates,” says the event’s director, Daniel Marco. “It is a successful formula as it consolidates us as the benchmark event in the second half of the year, as recognized by exhibitors and visitors. In 2019, in addition, Habitat is positioned strategically during that week in the world calendar of fairs to favor the interests of our exhibitors and the arrival of buyers from around the world,” he explains.
From the breakdown of figures it is also necessary to note that, although the growth of domestic buyers increased by 12%, that of foreign buyers increased further reaching 24%, mainly from Russia (21%), Portugal (18%), France (16%), Italy (8%) or United Kingdom (5%) and completing a total of 56 markets that were present at the Feria Valencia event.
