SPAIN – Hábitat 2020, the leading fair for ‘made in Spain’ interiors which takes place from 22nd to 25th September this year at Feria Valencia, will add a new hall to accommodate the high demand for space from exhibitors to occupy a total of seven halls.

865HABITAT2 It is expected that the new hall will be on Level 3, just beyond the Design and Avant Garde area and will thus be able to accommodate more exhibitors and products from that segment of the market, which has been one of the most vibrant over the last few editions of Hábitat. The move means that the total amount of space available for exhibits will by 15% greater than last year, rising to 70,000 square meters of gross exhibition space.

It should be remembered that in addition to the seven halls dedicated specifically to Hábitat the return of Home Textiles Premium by Textilhogar means there will also be an extensive offering of home textiles, upholstery and decorative products. A long-established fair that has been staged in Madrid for its past five editions is to take place at Feria Valencia, at the same time as Hábitat. Between them, the two fairs will cover almost 90,000 square meters of gross exhibition space.

On another front, Feria Hábitat Valencia has enjoyed a remarkably successful start to its sales campaign for the next edition. In fact, over the last few months and on the back of a number of sales initiatives aimed at the 503 companies and brands that exhibited last time round, Hábitat has achieved more than 90% repeat bookings, ensuring the showcase will be of the same high standard as the last few years.

Feria Hábitat Valencia’s sales and marketing team has thus embarked upon an ambitious sales plan that aims to bring new exhibitors on board Hábitat 2020. These are set to be high end companies that are well represented in both the international and the domestic markets through specialist areas such as haute décor, contemporary, design and the avant garde.

In terms of the international scenario, a significant number of applications for space are being received from manufacturers that are very strong players in the European market and are based in Italy, France, Portugal and Germany and are wanting to take part in the next Hábitat. In order to add these new exhibitors to the Feria Valencia showcase, the organizers will be dealing with these enquiries in strict order of receipt.
