GERMANY – Specialized German media reports an in June turnover of the German kitchen furniture industry by 7.5% vis à vis last year to €463.7m. 

According to figures compiled each month by the Association of the German Kitchen Furniture Industry (VdDK) on the basis of data from the Federal Statistical Office, export turnover increased in this sector by 9.2% to €188.1m. This rise was more significant than in domestic turnover, which improved by 6.4% to €275.6m. In the euro zone €143.3m was generated. This corresponds to an increase of 9.3% compared to June 2015.

Agreggate sales in the 1st half 2016, by the German kitchen furniture industry were up by 7.1%.  Domestic business grew by 5.1%, and exports were up by an impressive 10.5% in the first half 2016.
