ARGENTINA – The eighth edition of the Argentine International Furniture Fair (FIMAR), the meeting point of the Argentine furnishings industry with qualified buyers in the country and abroad, will feature 150 exhibitors and expects the presence of more than five thousand targeted visitors linked to the sector.
The fair will take place from 23 to 25 April, 12 to 20 hours at the Forja Events Center, and occupies about 10,000 m2 of exhibition area, has the confirmed participation of the country’s major furniture manufacturers for the home, office, outdoors, commerce, restaurants and hotels, among others.
“Thus, FIMAR 2015 consolidates in quantity and quality of exhibitors as of qualified buyers, particularly traders, purchasing managers of large department stores, furniture stores owners, professionals and stakeholders in the furniture sector, and also the trade press, among others,” said the architect Diego Marín Ligorria, deputy director of the tradeshow.
Furthermore, as every year, the Matchmaking Business Rounds will take place, co-organized with the Agency Pro Cordoba, that in 2014 led to approximately eighty interviews between manufacturers and large chains and generated sales that exceeded 200 million pesos. This year FIMAR expects the participation of around thirty operators of large commercial chains and buying groups of the sector.
