CHILE – In December 2018, circulated the last edition of the Lignum magazine, reputed specialized publication of the forestry industry with regional scope. This decision extends to both its printed publication and the digital version.

In the last edition of Lignum in December of last year its editorial house Editec announced the decision through an editorial that alluded to the challenges faced by print media against new technologies and reading habits of the new generations.

For Editec, the decision to close Lignum has not been easy, it hurts its journalistic vocation, its adhesion to the sector and the history covered. However, he believes that others, in other platforms and with the support of emblematic companies in the forestry sector, could project Lignum in a new cycle.” the editorial stresses.
