ECUADOR – Ecuadorian Fiberboard imports in the January – September 2016 period reached USD 5,692,652.  A considerable 46.4% drop compared to USD 10,612,914 in the same nine-month period of 2015.

Novopan was the main importer during the period reaching USD 1,912,718 followed by Masisa and Edimca with USD 1,185,720 and USD 845,032 respectively.  Provemadera and Masisa had the biggest drops in imports in the period with 64.5% and 64.1% respectively. Edimca was the only importer that increased purchases, up 118.6%, from USD 386,574 in 2015 to USD 845,032 in 2016.
