GERMANY – Travel to Ligna 2025 fairgrounds free of charge and CO₂-neutral within the greater Hanover area, thanks to the new Climate Ticket, available from March 21, 2025.

Deutsche Messe, in collaboration with the ÜSTRA network, is making a significant move toward sustainable mobility. Starting now, all exhibitors and visitors to Deutsche Messe trade fairs—including Ligna 2025—can use local public transport within the ÜSTRA network with a valid visitor or exhibitor ticket. This benefit also extends to media representatives with a valid press pass.
“With the new Climate Ticket, we are making it easier for all Ligna participants to travel to the fair in a convenient, cost-effective, and environmentally friendly way. Just in time for Ligna’s 50th anniversary, this is a wonderful early birthday gift.
As a company, we are actively reducing CO₂ emissions, easing the load on transport infrastructure, and enhancing Hanover’s appeal as a trade fair location,” said Dr. Jochen Köckler, CEO of Deutsche Messe AG.
The Ligna visitor ticket, exhibitor pass, or valid press pass now also serves as a ticket for local public transport in Hanover and the surrounding region, within the ÜSTRA network. This benefit applies even if previous tickets show different information.
