COLOMBIA – Colombian modular furniture exports recorded a considerable decline in the January – October 2015 period, reaching USD 9,2 million, down 24.6%, compared to the same period last year (2014: USD 12.2 million).

Exports to the north american markets – Mexico and the US – partially offset the drop to the traditionally main markets of Chile, Peru and Ecuador with an increase of exports to Mexico of 51.1% and to the US of 34.7%. Both Mexico and the US surpassed Ecuador and are now the third and fourth main destinations for Colombian modular furniture.
