COLOMBIA – Colombian wooden furniture exports maintained a positive level of growth in 2022. They went from USD 58.83 million in 2021 to USD 60.69 million in 2022, an increase of 3.2 percent.

IMA was the countries second exporter of wooden furniture with shipments of USD 7,28 million in 2022 (2021: USD 4.37 million) and had the highest growth (66.6 percent) among the top exporting companies.
Industria de Muebles del Valle (Inval) followed with USD 6.68 million, a 10.3 percent fall compared to 2021.
Muebles Jamar, Milestone Muebles and Maderkit followed with exports of USD 4.24 million, USD 3.82 million and USD 3.39 million respectivelly.
In 2022, the United States was again the main destination for Colombian wood furniture exports. The segment’s shipments to the U.S. totaled USD 24.61 million, an increase of 36.3 percent compared to 2021 (USD 18.06 million).
Panama passed Chile and was the second largest market for Colombian wood furniture exports in the period with USD 8.61 million, an improvement of 4.2 percent compared to 2021 (USD 8.26 million).
