USA –  CMPC has officially inaugurated its new branch, CMPC Forest Products, in Atlanta, marking a significant step in the company’s expansion in North America.

The new office is part of CMPC’s 2030 Strategy, which focuses on strengthening international operations and improving proximity and responsiveness to customers in key global markets.

The launch event brought together around 20 clients from CMPC’s Pulp, Boxboard, Sack Kraft, and Wood divisions, who took part in a series of sessions and presentations organized by the company’s team. During the event, guests were introduced to the newly remodeled facilities, designed to support the company’s service excellence and logistical coordination.

“This step allows us to be closer to our clients in the United States and respond more quickly to their needs, providing a top-tier service right up to delivery,” said Francisco Ruiz-Tagle, CEO of CMPC.

CMPC Forest Products has been operational since January 1, 2024, and was created through a joint venture with International Forest Products (IFP). The new company currently has a team of 24 professionals, focused on sales and logistics for the North American market.

Dan Kraft, President and CEO of IFP, emphasized the value of the partnership: “We are proud to continue building a solid relationship with CMPC, one that enables us to offer comprehensive solutions to clients in the United States.”

With this new office, CMPC reaffirms its long-term commitment to sustainable growth, internationalization, and delivering customer-centric solutions across all business units.

CMPC, headquartered in Chile, is a global leader in the forestry, pulp, paper, packaging, and tissue sectors.
