CHINA – The China International Furniture Fair (CIFF) in Shanghai, which is planned as a regular trade fair, is to be held as a purely online event in December.

961CIFF The last date planned from December 11th to 14th, after two prior postponements, will be retained. By changing the format, the organizers China Foreign Trade Center Group and Shanghai Zhongmao Macalline Economic and Trade Development are adapting to the tightening measures taken by the Chinese authorities to combat pandemics. In addition to the quarantine regulations that have been in place for a long time, this also further reduced cross-border flight connections to and from China.

The CIFF Shanghai, originally planned from September 3rd to 6th, was initially moved to September 25th to 28th in August. The new date was also justified with precautionary measures to contain the pandemic.

CIFF organizers sincerely thanks all exhibitors, visitors and colleagues in the furniture industry for their understanding and support and will continue to provide high-quality services and exert every effort to successfully hold the online event.
