PERU (Notifix).- In the January-April period China was the main wooden furniture supplier to Sodimac Peru reaching USD 2.165.637 and 42% share of Sodimac’s imports. Brazil is the second supplier to the Peruvian operation of the regional home improvement chain with furniture shipments of USD 2.000.020 and a 38.9% share. Exports to Sodimac Perú from Colombia totaled USD 630.059 for a 12,3% share.
Imports from these three main supplying countries represent more than 90% of Sodimac’s wooden furniture imports to Perú.
The home improvement chain completed 19 stores in the country with the inauguration in March of the store in Ate, Lima.
