Chile’s Wooden Furniture Imports Rise 25.4% in 10M-2024

CHILE – Chile’s wooden furniture imports totaled USD 104.95 million from January to October 2024 (10M-2024), marking a 25.4% increase compared to same period of the previous year.

Brazil remained the top supplier country with USD 35.74 million, up 14.8%, followed closely by China, which saw a 35.7% jump to USD 33.67 million. Malaysia and Vietnam also posted strong gains, with imports growing 39% to USD 6.56 million and 36.6% to USD 3.69 million, respectively.

Lithuania showed exceptional growth, increasing its exports by 169.5% to USD 3.18 million, Italy, known for its luxury and design excellence, also saw a significant 74.1% increase, reaching USD 2.38 million in exports..

On the downside, Colombia’s exports fell by 15.2%, totaling USD 2.50 million, and other supplier countries experienced a 20.7% decline, totaling USD 13.75 million.
