BMWK Funds German Start-Ups at Interzum 2025

GERMANY – The German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK) is offering financial support to young, innovative companies, helping them exhibit at interzum 2025 by covering up to 60% of their stand costs.

Interzum, taking place from May 20-23, 2025, will once again serve as a leading platform for emerging companies to present groundbreaking product innovations and process developments. Through the “Young Innovators” funding programme, the BMWK provides financial assistance by covering up to EUR 7,500 of exhibition costs, helping startups increase their visibility and competitiveness in the global market.

Interzum is one of the world’s most influential trade fairs for the furniture industry, attracting around 62,000 international visitors and 1,600 exhibitors from 59 countries. The event offers emerging companies a unique opportunity to expand their network, learn about market trends, and gain valuable insights into customer needs.

Eligibility criteria:

  • The company must be registered and operating in Germany
  • It must have been established within the last 10 years
  • The company must employ fewer than 50 people
  • Its annual turnover or balance sheet total must be below EUR 10 million
