GERMANY – interzum 2023, the world’s leading trade fair for furniture production and interior design, opens in Cologne.

The central theme for this year’s edition of the trade fair is neo-ecology. Exhibitors from across the world will therefore present product ideas and concepts that focus on the fundamental social issues of sustainability, resource conservation and the circular economy.

Over 1,600 companies from 60 countries will present sustainable concepts and products for contemporary homes and interior design at interzum 2023.

In the last On-Site edition in 2019 the show had 74.000 vistors from 152 countries in 190.000 m² of exhibition.

Thematically, interzum 2023 will move in many additional areas that designers are concerned with today: digitalisation and generative production, reduction of living space, demographic design or green mobility. The requirements for design will change over the long term with such diverse forms of transformation.
