CHILE – On March 17, Arauco acquired the entire stake held by Etex in E2E S.A., a company dedicated to the development of dry construction solutions of high standards, which currently has a presence in Chile and Brazil.

E2E was establishedin 2017, as a joint venture between Arauco and the Belgian firm Etex Group with the purpose of improving the habitability and sustainability of construction, through the development of dry construction solutions with wood, for the homes and buildings market.

Each of the parties originally held a 50% interest in the company.

This partnership had an initial investment of USD 6 million, starting in Chile and seeking to strengthen the domestic and Latin American market.

In 2019, the first production plant in Chile was inaugurated.
