ITALY - Office furniture company Haworth has acquired Luxury Living Group, the high-end Italian furniture company with licensed brands including Bugatti Home, Bentley Home and Fendi Casa.

The transaction was processed through the Italian subsidiary Haworth Italy Holding, while the newly acquired company will operate under the Lifestyle Design Division (also known as the Poltrona Frau Group). The company did not disclose the purchase price.

Luxury Living Group employs around 250 people and has annual sales of € 90 million. The export share amounts to 95%. The distribution takes place through 80 trading partners worldwide as well as through seven company-owned sales locations in Milan (2), Forli, Paris, New York, Los Angeles and Miami. The reopening of the branch in London and the opening of flagship stores in Shanghai and San Francisco are planned for the coming year.

Lifestyle Design employs 1,800 people and has an annual turnover of around € 500 million. The division has been part of the Haworth Group since 2014

Olga Shvilli Vignatelli, wife of the founder and with him co-maker of the most recent history of the company, will retain her role as Vice President and passionate Brand Ambassador of the group.
