ARGENTINA - Two months before the X edition of FIMAR Buenos Aires, its exhibition space is 100% occupied with close to 300 furniture industries from across the country. 

FIMAR is held annually in two versions, Cordoba in April and Buenos Aires in August. The Buenos Aires edition will be held from 17 to 20 August in the Blue Pavilion of the Rural Expo Center. This edition of FIMAR will be part of the Presentes Spring Expo, Argentine’s largest international decoration, lighting, furniture, kitchen, gifts, accessories, leather goods and textiles exhibition.

FIMAR is organized by Cordoba’s Wood, Furniture and Equipment Chamber, San Francisco’s Chamber of Wood and Allied Workers, Rio Cuarto’s Chamber of Wood and Allied Workers, and the Wood Industry and Allied Workers Chamber of Canada Gomez. Exhibitors include home and office furniture manufacturers, mattress manufacturers, as well as industry suppliers.

Parallel to FIMAR, takes place the Salon of Argentine Furniture (SMA), an exhibition space where designers and entrepreneurs new to furniture production can make contact with wholesale buyers and large volume furniture manufacturers to market their creations - either as prototypes or in small series. In SMA newcomers are showcased together with Argentine’s most iconic furniture products.
