USA - Ashley Furniture, a privately owned company and one of the largest furniture manufacturers globally, started Phase 13 of its expansion plan in its manufacturing complex in Ecru, Mississippi, USA.
The project represents an investment of $ 6 million and includes the expansion of its manufacturing facility and transportation terminal. With this expansion, the Ecru upholstery manufacturing operation will cover an area of 2 million square feet (approx. 186,000 m2) and with it Ashley Furniture will operate the largest upholstered furniture plant in the world.
Only in the state of Mississippi, Ashley Furniture employs over 4,000 people. “We are extremely proud of the relationships we have formed in the communities and surrounding areas of Ecru, Ripley and Verona, Mississippi.
