SWEDEN (Notifix).- Ikea launches Uppleva, an entertainment center with integrated electronic equipment. The solution consists of an LCD TV, sound system and the corresponding

entertainment center of Ikea's Besta line. The integration eliminates cables and access all electronics from a single remote. "The idea behind Uppleva came from our visits around the world with people in their homes in order to understand their electronic equipment needs and interior design of rooms. We realized that many people are looking for an attractive solution to be responsible of the various media devices in a way that matches their furniture", explained Francis Cayouette, Uppleva system designer. The new line will be available from summer 2012 in selected stores in Sweden, Poland, France, Italy and Germany.
