(CCTV) reported on fraud carried out by the Chinese importer DaVinci Furniture Ltd. in Shanghai. The company is under investigation by Chinese authorities for having marketed as Italian furniture pieces that were actually manufactured in China with much lower quality materials. The pieces were sent to Italy and re-imported to China an therefore obtained the import license.
