ARGENTINA – Since the end of March the COVID-19 pandemic has changed the hygiene habits in Argentina and the world over.
One of the precautions taken by those who return home is to wash or disinfect footwear and clothing. Thinking of providing solutions in this regard, La Valenziana Muebles, a company based in Uranga, province of Santa Fe, launched Ozonizer 3.0, a piece of furniture of limited dimensions, which allows for “dry” sanitizing of personal items in just half an hour and designed to be placed at the entrance of the house or apartment.
In an interview with D&F Muebles, José Castrillo, Director of the company’s creative department, explained the process as follows: “Ozonizer 3.0 is an artifact that contains an ozone-producing cannon inside it. Containing it inside the compartment produces the necessary concentration to sanitize the objects within, killing bacteria, fungi, viruses and other contaminating agents ”.
The piece of furniture includes a lithium battery that gives it an autonomy of approximately 15 hours of use, and the ozone generator plate has an estimated useful life of about 4,000 hours.
Ozone is endorsed by WHO as one of the best methods of disinfection against viruses, bacteria, fungi and other agents.
