COLOMBIA – In 2023, sales from Colombia’s top 12 furniture manufacturers reached COP 1,028.5 billion, up from COP 965.8 billion in 2023, marking a 6.5% growth.
Despite a slight 1.2% sales decline in 2023, RTA Muebles retained its position as the leading manufacturer with COP 176.8 billion in sales.
Famoc Depanel maintained its second-place position with COP 150.3 billion in 2023, up 7.9% from COP 139.3 billion in 2022.
Then came Maderkit with COP 113.8 billion and Socoda with COP 109.1 billion in sales.
Among the top twelve manufacturers, five specialize in office and commercial furniture, four focus on ready-to-assemble (RTA) modular furniture, while the remaining specialize in seating, kitchen furniture and wooden doors.
RTA modular furniture manufacturers achieved consolidated sales of COP 429.3 billion in 2023, up 6.1% from COP 404.8 billion in 2022. Office and commercial furniture manufacturers saw sales rise to COP 380.4 billion, an 8.7% increase from COP 350.0 billion in 2022.
