COLOMBIA (Notifix).- The Colombian manufacturer of ready to assemble furniture, RTA Design, was certified on June 12 by the Rainforest Alliance with the FSC Chain of Custody. 

The Chain of Custody certification is essential to access environmentally and socially conscious markets or to demonstrate compliance with public or private policies that specify procurement supply of environmentally responsible materials. Among them, the Ecolabel system for furniture of the European Union and the LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification system of the U.S.

With this certification RTA Design, a manufacturer with only 10 years of existence, is moving forward on its mission to provide “unique products with a perfect combination of competitive prices, excellent quality and functional and innovative designs.” It should also be noted that in the first quarter of 2013, RTA Design recorded a significant increase in exports reaching USD 926.921, 98% growth against the first quarter of 2012.
