GERMANY – In the 2020 financial year, Häcker Kitchens, one of the largest kitchen furniture manufactures in Germany, achieved a sales increase of 4.9% to EUR 646 million (2019: EUR 616 million). With this positive result, the successful development of recent years has continued.

At around 37 percent, with a slight growth, the export share continues to be an important component of sales policy. Particularly gratifying: 94 new jobs were created. The success at Häcker Kitchens is now achieved by 1,855 qualified and motivated employees (2019: 1,761), who were able to benefit from special bonus payments last year. Since the company in its Rödinghausen plant was approaching the limits of its capacity, the new, ultra-modern Plant 5 at the Venne site in the Osnabrück region went into operation earlier than planned in August 2020. One of the most modern kitchen production facilities in the world was built there on a total area of around 212,000 square meters. The new plant is the production home of the “Systemat” & “SystematART” product lines.

In addition to CO2-neutral production (2019), Häcker’s entire product range was also recognized as climate-neutral in 2020 as part of a CFP (Carbon Footprint of Product) study by the “Focus Future” institute. This makes Häcker the first manufacturer of kitchen furniture to offer its customers climate-neutral products.
