USA – Sauder Woodworking, the world’s largest manufacturer of ready-to-assemble (RTA) furniture, has announced the appointment of Nolan Pike as President and Chief Executive Officer, effective October 21, 2024.
He succeeds Kevin Sauder, who is retiring after more than 36 years with the company. Nolan brings over 35 years of extensive experience, having held key leadership roles at General Electric, Sears, and Electrolux. Nolan holds an MBA from Lehigh University and a BBA in Management from the University of Texas-San Antonio.
Debbie Sauder David, Chair of the Sauder Board of Directors, expressed confidence in Nolan’s leadership, stating, “We are confident that under Nolan’s leadership, our company will continue to serve our customers, employees, and communities, and achieve new heights.” She added that after 90 years of growth under Sauder family leadership, the company is in capable hands.
Kevin Sauder, who has been President/CEO since 2001, noted, “Nolan brings experience and expertise that will greatly benefit our company and take it to the next level.”
As part of the transition, Kevin Sauder plans to work closely with Nolan and they will both attend the High Point (NC) Furniture Market to meet with key customers, sales representatives, industry partners, and trade media. Kevin will retire on November 1, looking forward to spending more time with family.
