UNITED KINGDOM – Nobia has confirmed the completion of the sale of its freehold manufacturing property located in Dewsbury, United Kingdom.
The sale was executed as an all-cash transaction with a sales price of GBP 13.6 million, equivalent to approximately EUR 16.1 million.
Earlier in the year, Nobia had unveiled its strategic decision to reposition a segment of its UK business to enhance overall margin performance. As part of this strategic initiative, the company has been divesting from unprofitable ventures and streamlining its manufacturing operations. Consequently, the Dewsbury production facility was shut down and has now been successfully divested.
Simultaneously, alongside the UK repositioning and consolidation efforts, Nobia had announced a cost reduction program. The implementation of this cost reduction program is progressing according to plan.
Nobia is currently one of the largest kitchen furniture companies in Europe conducting both manufacturing and sales of kitchen solutions.
