USA (WWN).- IKEA ranked highest in customer satisfaction for kitchen cabinet purchases, according to a survey from JD Power and Associates, beating out well known cabinet

companies American Woodmark, Thomasville, Merillat, KraftMaid Cabinetry and American Classics. The study has been conducted for five years but this is the first time that IKEA has topped the list, helped by high scores in three of the five factors measured: ordering and delivery, price, and warranty. The remaining two factors were design and operational performance. Of the five measures of customer satisfaction, ordering and delivery was cited as the most influential for kitchen cabinet customers. Additionally, the study also found that nearly 33 percent of customers prefer purchasing their cabinet through a retailer where in-store product displays, sales staff recommendations as well as the retailer’s website are a contributing factor.
