U.S. (Notifix).- Construction officially began at the IKEA store in the Miami-Dade County.

The new location, called IKEA Miami, is located in an area of 14.6 acres adjacent to the Dolphin Mall The store will have an area of 4274 m2 and parking for 1,500 vehicles. IKEA Miami will offer more than 10 thousand articles showcased in 50 room-settings.

During the construction phase more than 750 temporary jobs will de created and after completion the company expects to create 350 permanent jobs. This will be the fourth IKEA store in the state of Florida where it operates with locations in Sunrise, Orlando and Tampa. To date IKEA totals 38 stores in the USA. The Swedish chain of furniture manufacturing, home decor and retail founded in 1943, is present in 41 countries worldwide with over 340 stores.
