GERMANY – With its sales growth of 8% to € 550 million worldwide in 2017 (2016: € 512 million) Häcker Küchen, one of Germany’s largest kitchen furniture manufacturers, has developed better than the industry average.

The domestic market at over 6% growth (€ 332 million) posted a very encouraging performance. “Both our kitchen specialists and the furniture stores have contributed equally to this growth,” says Markus Sander, Managing Director of Sales and Marketing at Häcker Küchen. And with a 10% increase in exports, the international markets now represent 40% of sales, which corresponds to a turnover of € 221 million. “We had a strong year in Asia, but also all our core markets in Europe developed well,” says Markus Sander. In 2017, for the first time in its history, Häcker Küchen produced more than 2 million cabinets in one year. The 6% growth in volume is lower than sales growth as Häcker continues the trend toward higher-quality kitchens.
